According to a new report from the National Association of Realtors®, remodeling projects can also bring major benefits to homeowners who choose to remain in their homes.
“Realtors® know that certain home upgrades and remodels can be beneficial to get more buyer eyes on a property, potentially bring in more offers or gain more equity from a home,” said NAR President.
The Indypendent Realty Group in Indianapolis has noted some specific characteristics which many seniors are now looking for in new homes. These include home offices to continue work from home, large windows for more natural light during the day, wide hallways to promote aging in one space, and all-inclusive technology systems which provide access to various features through one easy to use panel or remote.
